The dosage on these multiples are 14 capsules per day in divided doses with meals.

I would suggest starting with one per day or one per meal to get used to them.  Consider yourself lucky if you can take (digestively tolerate) multiple vitamins.  You can save a lot of money and hassle if you can take a multiple as a base, add a multiple B-vitamin (B-complex) and a few extra specifics.

I have to take almost everything separately - aargh !  So many bottles, so many pills.  Give the multiples a try.  If you really can't make them work, start your family on them - don't let them go to waste.

Even just one of these per day can make a huge life and death difference in a person's overall health in so many ways, and should be better than the average one-pill-per-day type vitamin.
